I was satisfied with the online course content and it was well understood and examples were very useful.  The online course material is very easy to read and the ABTS staff always happy to help.  I got lot of support from ABTS staff.

The value of the course is more than I paid and feel it’s well worth it. It’s motivating and it helps to improve my knowledge in International trading.

I have done a course with ABTS and I can thoroughly recommend that you go for that one.

They do a weekend course and an online course. I did the online course as I live in Dorset and it wasn’t practical for me to go to London every weekend. The online course covered and explained everything that I needed to know about the import export business.

I am now in the business myself and believe me when I say that you need to know what you are talking about when you speak to clients. If the client thinks you don’t know what you are talking about then you are at a big disadvantage. The course doesn’t teach you how to sell, it is focused on import and export.

The tutor, Alan, is very helpful and can be contacted at all reasonable hours. He can explain to you in depth about any part of the course you might have a problem with. I have no problem recommending this course and I feel it is well worth the money. It’s an investment in your company after all.

I was in China setting up my business for most of the time when I did the course and what I learned from experience over there coincided exactly with what I learned from the course. Nothing teaches you like experience and ABTS doesn’t pretend otherwise. What they do is prepare you for what is coming.

You will learn all the terminology, which will get you a lot of respect from your clients, and you will also learn all the tricks that you have to manoeuver your way around when importing/exporting. They teach you about the paperwork, customs and excise, vat, the lot. I can assure you I have nothing to do with ABTS, I just want to pass on what I considered money well spent to help out other similar businesses.

Anyway, call the ABTS number and speak to Alan, he’s a very easy going bloke, (or seems so on the phone as I’ve never actually met him).

On the other hand, before I booked on to the course I was looking at the Wade Trade site. They seem to be more into any old thing like erotic writing courses and what not. That put me off for a start and when I saw a review online from someone who said he had done that course, he said that he could have just googled the information that he learned from them and got it for free. So that’s why I went for ABTS.

I have completed the online course and finished the exam.  I thought it was great.
